About Our Company
Russian Legal Translations was founded by an American-educated lawyer who also has a degree in linguistics from a Russian university. We work together with Russian lawyers and linguists to provide the highest quality translations. Because of our experience with the legal systems in the United States and in Russia, we are in a unique position for editing and translating legal documents.
Legal translation is a very specific skill. You must have a thorough understanding of the language you translate into. Any lawyer knows that law itself is a specific language. Language acquires a specific role when it is in a legal context. The documents we translate can be used in court.

Official USCIS Documents
United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) requires all foreign language documents to be accompanied by a full English language certified translation in accordance with Title 8 Code of Federal Regulations – 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3). USCIS does not require notarization or the original translation; the digital copy we provide will be accepted.
Your total price will be just $24.95 per page with no additional fees. We specialize in certified translations for immigration. We can also help you fill out forms for: citizenship, green cards and visas.
ABOUT ALFRED SANTOS
Alfred was born in the USA and is a native English speaker. He has a master’s degree in linguistics from the University of Saint Petersburg in Russia and has a master’s degree in law from the University of Maryland School of Law in the USA. He has over 20 years of experience working as an attorney in the United States.
He is a licensed interpreter and has translated and published academic works ranging from linguistics to the history of medicine.
Because Alfred speaks Russian and has practiced law in the United States, he is in a unique position to edit, translate, explain and teach legal concepts.
